  • Goal


    We offer our knoweledge and expeirience in GPCR functional assays, cell lines culture and assay development.

    The purpose of this domain is to establish scientific cooperation between the Department of Neurobiology of the Maj Institute of Pharmacology of the Polish Academy of Sciences that offers its competence in the field of in vitro functional GPCR assays include screening and profiling in drug discovery and pharmacodynamic research. This action is intended to increase access to pharmacodynamic methods for the global drug chemistry environment, focused on the research of new ligands of metabotropic receptors.

    Methods:

    Real time (FDSS/ucell) and end-poin (Freedom Evo2000/Infinite M1000) pharmacodynaamic study

    calcium flux assay
  • Ca++ flux assay
  • Hamamatsu FDSS/uCELL kinetic plate reader enables for individual analysis of 384 wells.


  • cAMP accumulation assay

  • Existing cell lines with overexpression of GPCR:

    The cell lines have been validated in terms of presence of the receptor coding mRNA (RT-PCR), receptor proteins (Western blot) and functional assay (cAMP accumulation, IP1, Ca2 +) in presence of the reference coumponds.
